Known Trivia
- The basic concept was originally made as a short entitled Road to Hell 3 for the Bloodshots 48 hour film contest put on by FantasticFest. The filmmakers enjoyed the concept so much that they decided to flesh it out into a feature that was filmed the following spring with many of the actors reprising their roles from the short.
- The movie was shot entirely in HD mostly with an Panasonic HPX170 and a Panasonic HVX200 being used simultaneously to capture multiple angles at once. This greatly speed up the production process allowing the entire movie to be shot in twelve days. The editor, Leland Freeman was on site importing the footage into Final Cut Pro as it was being shot, as well as editing it with the multi-clip function. This allowed the picture to be locked five days after production wrapped.
- Post Production for the entire movie in general went by much quicker than average. The movies post period only took three months and had its first public screening on May 1st 2009.
- Hawgfly Productions, The same company that did the effects for Grindhouse, Machete, Temple Grandin and The Tree of Life, was brought in to do the special effects for the movie.
